DMB Games Game Tile System

Created by DMB Games

What is the DMB Game Tile System? The DMB Game Tile System is a Modular system that allows you to build anything from single encounters to sprawling tabletop scenes. The system is designed to be used for any game you want to play from Dungeons & Dragons to Frostgrave, Warhammer and beyond. The Tiles are Fully Modular, with the walls and floor separate from each other so you can create any layout you want to. They are available hand painted, finished, and felted by our studio painters or if you prefer they are available unpainted as well.

about 6 years ago – Sat, Mar 10, 2018 at 06:39:12 AM

We have hit another stretch goal, I am updating the page as quickly as I can but for his stretch goal we have another set of tiles, these ones are corridor and room tiles.

We have a 2x3, 2x4 and 2x5 tile as well as 3x3, 3x4 and 3x5 tile as well.

This stretch goal will add a free 2x4 tile to the rewards for everyone who has pledged £50 or more.

Graphics are on their way, so I’ll post another update when that’s up and I’ll be showing the tiles off on the live stream tonight!

Thank you again to everyone who has pledged, you are all amazing!

Back to the grindstone!

Thanks

about 6 years ago – Sat, Mar 10, 2018 at 05:53:10 AM

Good Morning!

£5,000 Stretch Goal Unlocked!

Another milestone reached today, we broke the £5,000 mark!

That means that the curved floors and walls are now unlocked and available to add to your pledge, just increase your pledge by £20 if you want them unpainted, or by £30 if you want them painted.

Having cleared both the £4,500 and £5,000 stretch goals we have also unlocked two new paint finishes, Sandstone and Ice, and we are half way to unlocking the Asylum Paint scheme, which makes the tiles look a lot more modern and allow them to integrate better in to Lovecraftian Horror and Pulp games.

You will be able to select which paint finish you want during the survey at the end of the campaign.

I have some More graphics to update, now that i can, and i have to prepare for the live stream tonight. Hopefully you will be turning in to see it if you can.

Thanks

These things are sent to try us!
about 6 years ago – Fri, Mar 09, 2018 at 06:28:27 AM

Well today hasn’t gone as planned, I sat down to try to do the graphics update, and we have a power cut, so no internet for me! Hey said it would be back on at 8am, then at 10am, now it’s between 1pm and 2pm.. but I’m not holding my breath for it.

Also I need to reschedule the live stream as I forgot I have a family meal tonight... and so we will do the stream tomorrow instead, and considering the power issues we are having I do t trust the internet to stay stable this evening to do a decent stream!

But in good news.....we have reached the £4,500 mark so we now have the Narrow Corridor Set available to you all!!!!

The narrow corridor set is meant to represent the 5’ wide corridors that do often show up on old school RPG maps. They are also a good way to make odd shaped rooms or rooms with alcoves as well.

We have a few different shapes, like the Z corner and Y corner pieces as well as an of centre T piece that allows you to directly connect a 5’ corridor piece to a 10’ Corridor Piece, or a doorway, without it looking odd.

Everyone gets 2x 1x4 corridor pieces added to their rewards package so if you have pledged for £50 or more you will receive those In with your pledge.

I’ll update the graphics when I get internet back, and I’m looking forward to the stream tomorrow!

Thanks

Updates - Stretch Goals and new Add ons.
about 6 years ago – Thu, Mar 08, 2018 at 01:10:52 PM

Hello Everyone,

For some reason Kickstarter wont let me edit the project, so I'm going to do this in an update, and try again a bit later to update the graphics on the main Kickstater Page.

So First things first, I have swapped around the £4,500 stretch goal which we are only £17 from hitting, to the Narrow Corridor Set!

£4,500 Unlock: Narrow Corridor Set

I have also update the Hex and The Curved floors to be later in the campaign as we have a new £5,000 goal which i will announce tomorrow during the Live Stream.

Everyone will also receive 2 1x4 Floor Tiles as a reward fro unlocking this stretch Goal, assuming they have pledge over £50, and they will be painted if you have a painted set and unpainted should you have pledged for an unpainted set.

I have also added two new add on's that you can increase your Pledge to include.

Dungeon Layout PDF: £15 Add on

Dungeon Layout PDF

It is a collection of 4 Hand drawn Maps that i have created that will be scanned in, tarted up a bit and then broken down in to different encounter maps. Each map will show you the hand drawn encounter, and then how to build that out of the tiles. I will attempt to order it in some way so that you can easily find the maps you can create from the sets you have.

For those of you who dont know Rosebyrne is a setting I have been writing for some time and is the Basis for several other projects we have in the works including an RPG Setting, a Bard Game and a Skirmish miniature game.

Wall Set Add On: £40 Unpainted £50 Painted

The second Add on is a Wall Set, that will cost £50 and include all the walls from a core set,

The graphics for these will go up on the Kickstarter page when the editor will let me adjust the page!

As always if you have any questions or comments let me know in the comments and ill answer them as bet i can.

I will talk about these things in more detail in the Live Stream tomorrow night!

Thanks

Up Coming Stretch Golas
about 6 years ago – Thu, Mar 08, 2018 at 11:21:59 AM

Morning Everyone!

I will be updating the graphics on the project a bit later today, I have had a hectic week with doctors visits and the like (Everything is ok, just a follow up from all the hullabaloo in June Last year)

I was just wondering to myself if the stretch goals that I have set up actually interest you?

Perhaps The next stretch goal rather than the Curved Floors and Walls, should be something you guys pick.

We have plenty of tiles over on the website, so have a look and let me know if there is something you would rather see as the stretch goals, and I will make some changes if you want them!

Thanks
