DMB Games Game Tile System

Created by DMB Games

What is the DMB Game Tile System? The DMB Game Tile System is a Modular system that allows you to build anything from single encounters to sprawling tabletop scenes. The system is designed to be used for any game you want to play from Dungeons & Dragons to Frostgrave, Warhammer and beyond. The Tiles are Fully Modular, with the walls and floor separate from each other so you can create any layout you want to. They are available hand painted, finished, and felted by our studio painters or if you prefer they are available unpainted as well.

Latest Updates from Our Project:

Something a Little Different..
about 6 years ago – Wed, Feb 28, 2018 at 12:34:23 PM

Good Morning from Snowy Essex!

I have had a few people asking me about the different layouts you can make from the various sets, and how many of X pieces do you need to make a particular set.

So i thought i would send some pictures of the sets out to you guys as well as some pictures of our Convention display board showing how we set them up to show people.

Apart from the Convention Board, each of the layouts shown below can be made using a single core set, as can all of the room and corridor sets shown in the add on section of the kickstarter.

I just wanted to mention that there are various models in these photos from Reaper Miniatures, Wizards of the Coast, Otherworld Miniatures, Crooked Dice Studios and a few others i don't remember where i got them from, none of which DMB owns any rights to whatsoever, and we just use them as they make our scenery look awesome than it already does :)

Go check out the companies i have mentioned, as they all deserve your support as much as we do!

The elevation on this setup is achieved by placing spare walls under the floor tiles. A similar effect can be achieved with the Gothic Support Pillars Found in the Pillar Add on Set.

At Shows and conventions we often have a set of the tiles laid out on the table for people to "play with" Here are some shots of what people have done with them.

Here are some photos of our display board in use at various conventions and shows around the UK.

The Full Display board is 6ft x 2ft and built on 1ft square boards for ease of transport and speed of set up at shows.

To make the board you would need roughly 4 core sets and a cavern set, although we dont use 4 full core sets to build it, as the first half was built before we decided what to put in to a core set over 5 years ago!

Hopefully these shots will give you an idea of what you can do with just one core set as well as combining multiple sets.

More pictures can be found over at our Facebook page and our Instagram page @dmbgames_uk. We are on twitter as well but i really dont know how to use it, and rarely post to it, if it isn't linked to Instagram.

I have another update later today that will also help you guys figure out what to do with the tiles, a new add on is on its way!

Thanks

A small step back, but thats not slowing us down!
about 6 years ago – Wed, Feb 28, 2018 at 06:40:39 AM

Hello,

Unfortunately we have had one of our Master the Dungeon Backers pull out and cancel their pledge which is a large blow to the project, not enough to stop us from funding or anything that means i wont be able to transfer the tiles or any of that kinda stuff, but it does put us at £70 under our Fieldstone Tile style at £3,500, and a fair ways from the £4,000 Dungeon Accessory Pack.

Im not going to adjust the graphics for the project based on this as i think we will easily get back up past that goal and also that we will hit the other stretch goals coming up like the Dungeon accessory pack, curved walls and floors and the narrow corridor set.

Things happen to everyone in life and i wouldn't want someone to be locked in to something they cant afford or dont want just because it makes my life easier.

What id does mean is that we now have two of the incredible good value Master of the Dungeon  pledges left!

Thanks for your support and ill have another update for you soon I'm sure!

Thanks

New Stretch Goal Information, and Paint Schemes.
about 6 years ago – Tue, Feb 27, 2018 at 11:31:06 AM

Good Afternoon Everyone!

I have made a few changes to the graphics on the Campaign to hopefully make it a bit easier to figure out whats what. We have a fairly big, and graphic heavy update for you here, but its worth looking through to see what has been updated.

1. Master of the Dungeon Update

Since we only have 2 of these left, I thought i would update the Master of the Dungeon Pledge graphic to include everything you are getting, including the Extras and Rewards from the Stretch Goals.

The value of that pledge is around £850 now so its a great deal for those of you who want to go for a big lump of tiles all at once.

2. Rewards

I have also put up a graphic showing the rewards that everyone is getting, we are at 3 rewards and a total of 9 items. More items will be added to the reward section as we progress through the campaign.

3. Paint Styles

I have also added a colour chart for those of you who want some variation in the way your tiles are painted. We have three colours already unlocked and another 5 to be unlocked as we go along.

At the end of the Campaign you will be sent a survey that will ask which colours you would like your tiles painted in (assuming you picked a painted pledge level).

You will be able to choose a paint scheme for each item pledged for, you will not be able to mix paint schemes within a set.

4. Stretch Goal Updates

Next we have the next two stretch goals, the Dungeon Accessories at £4,000 and the Curved Floor and Walls at £4,500

5. FAQ Update

And lastly i have updated the FAQ to answer, well frequently asked questions... have a look, if there is something else you need to know either send me a messege or comment on the project and ill answer as soon as i can!

Well thats all from me for now, but keep an eye out for more updates, and as always if you could share the project with everyone you know, and even some you dont know it would be much appreciated!

Thanks

Next Stretch Gaol Update - Dungeon Accessory Pack
about 6 years ago – Tue, Feb 27, 2018 at 10:38:20 AM

Yesterday I spent the majority of the day working on the accessory pack for the £4,000 stretch goal.

I have some very cool special pieces to add to the set that I am still working on but here are the basic pieces.

The picture isn’t the best as they have just been undercoated, and I’ll be spending a lot of today painting them up, but I couldn’t wait to show you the components.

We are currently £96 away from getting these pieces (and the cool special pieces) unlocked.

That’s one core set (and an extra £1) from me being able to produce these in resin and for you guys to be able to add a set of them to your pledge.

This will also open up the free reward for this stretch goal added to every pledge above £50.

I shall reveal the free reward soon, it’s one of the cool special pieces I’m working on!

Thanks again everyone for your support, please feel free to share this update and the project around!

Thanks

New Stretch Goals
about 6 years ago – Mon, Feb 26, 2018 at 11:07:22 AM

Afternoon everyone. I have been working on the new stretch goals and I have a few bits to update you with.

£4000 - Dungeon Accessories - Wizards Lair

The next stretch goal is Dungeon Accessories, but these are different to the pledge level ones. First of all these are our first set of "new items, so i dont actually have anything to show you for them at the moment, but i will be working on them over the course of the next week or so. So before the end of the campaign I will have the finished articles to show you but, i will make sure you are updated as we go along.

This set of Accessories will feature everything you can thin of that you may encounter in Wizards Lair or Library.

Desks, Tables, Book Cases with and without books, bottles jars, scrolls, and all the bits in between. Here are a few pictures of some of the bits to tide you over.

Skulls, small table and open book

Ill be looking to make a cauldron, and perhaps even an evil altar of some description as well.

I'll update the stretch goal graphic with something explaining this and with prototype pictures and finished articles as we go along.

Hope fully thats enough for now to get you to add enough on to your pledges so we can get those in to production.

This stretch goal will include a free extra but I'm not sure just what that is going to be yet, and probably wont until i have figured out whats actually in the set!

Ill have more updates on what we can expect later, and of course more bits for previews later on!

Again thank you to everyone who has pledged so far, but we still have loads more to unlock so if you could spread the word, tell your friends, family, co-wrorkers, the odd man who lives at the end of your street, tell everyone you can, and we can get some more of these pieces transferred in to Resin!

Thanks

Andy @ DMB
